This is a comment I received from a young man on the course held at Trinity, Cambridge, mid-August 2009:
Dear Ralph,
You have probably tired of hearing this by now, but I would like to sincerely thank you for last week. It was a life-changing experience for all of us. I eagerly look forward to next year.

To which I replied:
Dear Ollie,
I shall never tire of hearing such lovely remarks. I'm so pleased to have met you, particularly as it has been 100 courses since your father came on the second ever course in 1981! So pleased you'll come next year.

You may have heard that I got a Choral Scholarship to King's for 2010. I just wanted to let you know (now that I have my grades and it's all official!) just how important the Eton Choral Courses that I attended were to this. The helped me so much, and I will always be incredibly thankful for the advice and brilliant encouragement that was given to me.
